The ISIMET Laboratory Service Panel operates as a single output controller incorporating either a solenoid valve assembly or electrical contacts along with the digital switching mechanism within a single enclosure.  An internal junction box houses the 120-vac line voltage along with transformer and circuit board.  The Laboratory Service Panel is not suitable for applications directly exposed to weather or wet conditions.

Variations:
Solenoid - The unit is equipped for either natural gas or fluid system applications (domestic water).  This unit features a manual shut-off valve with a 24-vac N/C solenoid with fittings.  The solenoid is pre-wired to the output circuit at the printed circuit board.  Refer to ISIMET Solenoid Specification for valve specifics.

Sizes from ½” – 1” IPS.  Valve Station Suffix “TUT” – Double Threaded Union through 1”.  “TU” – Threaded Union greater than 1”. “XU” – non-union on all fuel gas systems but piping is provided with added union. All units are provided with rubber grommets – Standard.  Fluid systems are optionally provided with a 20 mesh Y-Strainer.

Electrical - Either a three (3) pole definite purpose contactor from 30 – 50 amp, or a four (4) or eight (8) pole mechanically held lighting contactor is provided within the enclosure.

Master Controller:

Combining the time sequencing and master operator features of the ISIMET Integration Interrupt Time Control Device – ITC, the Service Panel can perform the Master in a Master-to-Slave Operating Environment.  Incorporating ISIMET Remote Operators with individual 120-vac solenoids at each laboratory with the Service Panel in a central location offers an ideal solution to facility management of large research facilities where the control criteria for utilities is less demanding than that of the typical public school laboratory.

Custom Assemblies:
Units can be custom fabricated to meet specific project requirements.  Multi-solenoid assemblies using the ISIMET 24X24 Enclosures are available for a wide range of applications.  Contact a factory representative.

Units can be custom fabricated to meet specific project requirements.  Multi-solenoid assemblies using the ISIMET 24X24 Enclosures are available for a wide range of applications.  Contact a factory representative. Assemblies containing 3” Solenoids must have the coil mounted in an upright, vertical position.  Therefore the assemblies must be arranged left-to-right or right-to-left.

Enclosure Features:

Door Lock – All units are provided with a keyed door lock.

Operation - Key Switch – Momentary switch for an “ON” Cycle.

Control Switch – Activates the output circuit with keying for “ON”.

Push Button Switch – Momentary contacts disengage the system requiring re-keying to active “ON”.

Alarm & “EMS” Input – Standard on all models.

Panic Notification – The unit is equipped with two “Panic” output circuits that can be utilized as a notification signal to an alarm system.  One Circuit can be field configured as a dry-contact or as 24-vac output.  Second circuit is standard dry-contact configuration.

LED Indicators – A Green “ON” or active LED illuminates with service “ON”.  A lower Red LED indicates that “Panic” has interrupted service and the notification circuit is active.

Standard Units are Flush Mounted W/ White Powder Coat Door.

Reset Switches are included on all solenoid outputs.

Dual Output Circuit Option:

The unit is available as a dual output system where the second output controls a 24-vac device that is remote of the Service Panel.

LS-Line Of Sight: The RF Module can be integrated into the operating function of the 4.2 version pcb or greater.

Door Panel Labeling:

Single Output Solenoid Systems are labeled per Enclosure Style ie. “NATURAL GAS SERVICE PANEL”

Electrical Panels are labeled per amp rating of contacts ie. “30 AMP ELECTRICAL SERVICE PANEL”

Dual Output Systems may be labeled “LABORATORY SERVICE PANEL” (Standard).

Custom labeling for specific applications is available.


 

ISIMET Utility Controllers and Companion Enclosures
Two Hour Fire Rating

UL Test #1479

All ISIMET Utility Controllers, Enclosures and Accessories can be certified for two-hour fire rating.  Working closely with the industry leader in fire rated materials, ISIMET can offer our enclosures with a one-half inch fire rated blanket.  This blanket that is adhered to the outer surface of the enclosure will enable the installer to incorporate the ISIMET product into a fire rated wall without the need for additional blanket or other rated material.

To specify a unit as “Fire Rated” use the following nomenclature:

Add to the ISIMET Part Number:  Prefix “F2” for all Utility Controllers, Companion Enclosures and Accessories.  Model numbers are for example only.

UtC-F2-12X9 indicates a four-circuit Utility Controller with fire blanket.

LA-F2-1212 indicates a wall mounted LA Series with fire blanket.

FLA-F2-2235 indicates a wall mounted FLA Series with fire blanket.

E-F2-1212 indicates a twelve-circuit E-Series with fire blanket.

S-F2-1211-3-3/4-K indicates a three-station S-Series with fire blanket.

MLA-F2-1-B indicates a Monitoring Beacon with fire blanket.

All components utilized in this “Fire Rating” will be provided with additional instructions for installation in order to insure that the rated material and process is not violated or damaged during installation.  Fire caulking as well as foil tape and extra blanket material is included for all components except for accessories.  Accessories are provided with foil tap and extra blanket only.  Fire caulking will need to be field provided.  Enclosure Sizes limited to 24” X 24” X 8” and smaller.
